MoR-Gut YPF project

The YPF project MoR-Gut 1.22 is a unique string, characterized by a polyamide composition with added elastomers and treated with thermal and mechanical cycles capable of making the dynamic properties of this filament unique.

The material is characterized by an absolutely constant static stiffness behavior, with a value of 0.55-0.60kg/mm and dynamic stiffness of 125-130g/mm, values that have no comparison among synthetic strings and that uniquely refer to natural gut.

Despite its reduced gauge and "rough" treatment, the filament is characterized by incredible resistance and durability coupled with extraordinary snap-back performance when paired with polyester strings.

The YPF project MoR-Gut 1.22 is to be used as a "special" string, in a hybrid combination on the horizontal strings to obtain very high performance in terms of power, spin, and comfort.

It should be noted that it is possible to maximize control without losing spin by increasing the tension of the rough-gut, in complete analogy with what is usually done for hybrids that use natural gut.
